Ayushmann is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming quirky thriller movie, An Action Hero, which also stars Jaideep Ahlawat. Directed by Anirudh Iyer and produced by Aanand L. Rai, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, the movie will release on the big screen on December 2.

He had earlier opened up about his character being very different from himself. As quoted by India TV, he said, "My character, Manav, is far removed from who I am in real life.
